I did check in File Explorer to be sure all the included screen saver files (*.scr) were in the WIN System32 folder and they are. > Right click on it, and edit the key valule to 1. Hold down Windows + R to launch RUN > Type: regedit and hit Enter > locate to HKEYCURRENTUSER\Control Panel\desktop\ScreenSaveActive, and create this string if there is no ScreenSaveActive. If I select any other (Mystify, Bubbles, Ribbons) it does not and I get the black screen and gets hung up in the wait mode. Confirm the power option has been set to allow the computer to sleep. Sure enough, both of my problems were fixed with the change. My battery had been dying for a while, and I finally switched it out yesterday.
Now click 'Open in Explorer' and the folder should pop up like this. Go into Wallpaper Engine and right click the wallpaper that you want to use as screensaver. At around the same time, I could not run a disk check. You can use any of these as screensavers, all you have to do is extract the video from Wallpaper Engine's workshop folder.

I did just notice that if I select the "3D Text" (WIN 10) screensaver it works both in full Preview Mode and after the set time. For whatever reason, my screensaver stopped working. I get a quick green progress bar and in about 5 seconds the report is made and the program closes. When I select Close the Program it states: "Hang on while we report the problem to Microsoft". If you close the program you might lose some information". I have to hit Escape and the I get the following message: However, as soon as I hit the Preview button to sample it full screen, the entire screen turns black and I get the spinning wait/hourglass icon indicating something is trying to be executed but is not. When I select any of the included Screen Savers in the dropdown box, I can immediately see each one of them working in the small prescreen in the selection window above the dropdown box.
